Great St. Mary’s is the University Church with a unique role at the heart of the City of   Cambridge with an extensive heritage education programme or schools, community groups and our many visitors from all over the world. The parish also includes Michaelhouse, with its beautiful medieval chapel, pioneer arts ministry, and the Michaelhouse Café. Over 300,000 people visited Great St. Mary’s last year to join in choral worship services, to light a candle and say a prayer, to visit the heritage centre and gift shop, and to climb the famous tower at the geographic centre of Cambridge.
